Managing Mobile Devices

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this but my profile lists 6 devices. I did manage to identify my actual device by adding a new APP to my phone (the duplicate iPad had the wrong App count)... My question is why did Faithlife duplicate my iPad and and triplicate my iPhone?

I believe upgrading the OS causes a new device to be added - hopefully someone can confirm / comment further

There are a number of reasons, including updates to iOS. A delete and reinstall could also cause this. I was told that if you maintain at least one of FL's apps installed, it should prevent extra "devices" being added. There is nothing you can do about added devices being added during an OS update.

It's not a super big deal I was just curious... I got it cut down to 3, my phone my iPad and my old 3GS which is basically just an apple remote at this point of it's life... but still have Logos on it.
