Today I installed the Beta 2. The process apparently went correctly - it uninstalled the prerequisites, then it installed Verbum and seemed to finish correctly. The folder structure and resources are all seemingly present, so in that sense I am probably better off than after Beta 1.
However, I am unable to start Verbum at all. The Verbum process doesn't even appear for an instant in the Task Manager. Here are the logs from the initial install, both from the normal Log folder, and from the Temp folder.

I then ran a repair using the Verbum-x64.msi file. It made no apparent difference. Here is the log from that session.

Then I restarted the computer. After logging into Windows, the Verbum Indexer icon popped up for a few seconds. Here is the log from that. It seems strange to me that the Indexer popped up on logging into Windows... I don't remember that happening before, and I wonder if it is related to an incomplete installation or something like that.

I continue without being able to open up Verbum. I have tried both the normal shortcuts, as well as double clicking directly on the Verbum.exe file in the Verbum folder. The application never even shows up for an instant in the Task Manager as best I can tell.
Any ideas as to how I could repair Verbum without having to redownload and reindex? Going back to 6.2 would be fine. I suggest you pull the Verbum 6.3 Beta 2 installer until you can figure this one out.
