is there a way to transfer my highlights and notes from the kindle to logos?

This is would be the opposite of the send to kindle feature. I would like to be able to send notes and highlights from kindle to logos.

It would be nice to have this as a feature For any books in logos that you can send to kindle.

Right now I am reading all of the works of Francis Schaefer on my paper white. That is why I wanted to ask this.

This was addressed when Faithlife was testing interest for the feature:

Development is considering implementing a 'Send to Kindle' feature for resources in your Logos library.

Before investing a significant amount of time on this item, we would like to assess user interest based on the fact that this feature would not support sending notes/highlights to or receiving notes/highlights from Kindle devices/apps (which is mentioned in the UserVoice request for this item).

Please let us know if you would still be interested in seeing this feature.

Still doesn't answer my question Yasmin. I am really not interested in reading through pages and pages of an old post that probably doesn't cover the issue.

Mark Barnes, are you out there? I know that he would know the answer.

No there is no way to transfer them back. But Logos is interested in gauging the desire to see if this is something they should invest effort in.

For my vote, if it were feasible I would love it. I love reading on my paper white and would appreciate highlights and notes being saved into Logos that I make there.

But to answer your question, for the time being, there is no way to do that.

    Thank you Jacob.

If it were possible to vote for this feature it would definitely get my vote.

Jessie, I use a very handy Javascript applet named Bookcision.  You can read more here:

    http://www.norbauer.com/bookcision/

I then log in to http://kindle.amazon.com/ to access the book containing the highlights that I want to download.

Bookcision allows me to download my notes and highlights from Kindle to Open Office or Google Docs.  I haven't then tried importing them to Logos, but I think I would just create a new "notes" file.

It's not like it's a quick "send to Logos" option, but I wouldn't expect to see that on an Amazon product.  However, once set up, it's really quick to do.

(What I now need is a way to export my highlights from Logos to Google Docs).

I'm sorry but I think you misunderstood me. I wasn't intending that you read through anything (the link was merely to disclose the source of the quote) but I highlighted the portion where, at the very beginning, Faithlife indicated that the transfer of highlights would not be supported. I hope you find a solution that works for you.
