Tsk, tsk.  You should read some works from the amillenial perspective and become a biblical christian.  [;)]

I learned for the first time from his Theology of the New Testament about the "already/not-yet" and "realized eschatology" and Cullman's "decisive battle" analogy. This book was very influential on my thinking. I would hope a Logos edition would keep the great diagrams (on p. 66-67 in the 1993 revised edition) which demonstrate various viewpoints of the timeline of eschatology.  And if this book came out in Logos format, I might actually spend the time to transfer all my underlinings from it into Logos highlighting! It was that good.  (P.S. And George, this book helped confirm me as a REAL amillennialist, even though that might not have been its intent.  [:)].)

George, we are not speaking of the Dispensational brand of Premillennialisml but
    Historic Premillennialism[H].

BTW, how far have you gone in writing your Revelation commentary?

I am aware of the difference between historic premil and disp premil, but I still say amil is the biblical view.

I might say that some of it is half-way baked though that has bad connotations -- I'm hoping you will understand it in the sense intended.  The rest of it is still marinading (yes, I do cook).

I made up my mind a long time ago. I have more questions, that God has allotted answers. I had a SS class that insisted on Revelations, I told them I would teach it under protest, and they wouldn't be happy. I taught it, and they weren't. I think they expected the dispensational viewpoint that they were used to from the pulpit. [6]

I had one of his books in my hand three minutes before I turned my laptop and saw this post.  It must be a sign :)

Edit, I hadn't noticed the earlier post dates until now. How interesting.

Ladd's Theology of the NT was originally scheduled to release 2/4/11.

Release date has been delayed 1 week to 2/11/11.

Here's another chance to get it at pre-pub price.
