More Christian Personal Growth Content needed - Joyce Meyer, John Maxwell, Alan McGinnis, Charles Ca

I am making a plead to find and add more content from authors such as Joyce Meyers, John Maxwell, Alan McGinnis (Friendship Factor, Bringing out the Best in People), Charles Capps, Tim LaHaye, and all of the other great authors who have created books that move people further in their personal development. There is a great wealth of books out there that you can find in the Borders or Barnes and Noble Christian book section that has not made it to Logos - I would love to see more of these kinds of books.

It is awesome that we have great Bible study tools available but I would just love to see the other side of books come to Logos - it would certainly add more revenue for you guys - for example the Shack! - why not bring that to Logos?

I am finding that reading entire books is something very enjoyable on my computer and would love to see Logos add more content like this

Hi Tim,

The next step to getting these published is to contact the publishers of these books directly. Ultimately, unless they hear about your interest, they wont invest in the Logos format.

I do not want to start a theological debate here.

I would be very disappointed if Logos made Meyer and Capps available in particular, as both are guilty of heretical teaching. Never heard of McGinnis. I have no problems with Maxwell, but his work is not Bible study, which is what Logos is intended for.

My 2 cents, and I will not engage in debate on this.

I do not want to get into any debate either as - debates can turn ugly very quick even if the intentions are good. But I think a number of people would love to see some of these authors works here - as there are works on Logos by denominations which some contradict the Bible so to say a non denomonational author is not worthy to be included here would I think be kind of ridiculous.

Not all of John Maxwell's books pertain directly to the Bible but I think that he does have a strong foundation and the majority of the work he has done stems from Biblical truths expressed through Leadership books.

I'm sure all of us can find our favorite heretic on Logos. However, I would prefer for Logos to concentrate on books that are clearly related to Scripture and the languages of the Scripture. There are plenty of competitors in the read and take notes arena; I'd like to see Logos concentrate on staying on or near the topic for Bible study.

I'm not sure if it is still available, but a several years ago ( at least 5) I purchased some John Maxwell books that were Logos compatible. Developing the Leader Within You, 21 Most Powerful Minutes in a Leaders Day and Developing the Leaders Around You. There were also other books available for unlock, but I'm not sure what their exact titles are.

There have been many books written where I believe the author is incorrect from a Biblical perspective, but still have benefitted. So I would like to see them available in Logos and would likely purchase them.

Well my next question what is the best cross platform eBook reader for Mac out there?

I have had such a wonderful experience reading my first book on Logos that I am looking for more content!
