[resolved] Suggestion: Different icons for different tasks
Now that the notification bar is taking a break, I suggest that Faithlife create icons for each task. I don't think the Warning Icon is an appropriate icon for downloading, indexing, etc.
A Warning Icon should be for warning you of a problem!
Maybe you could have a moving downward arrow for downloading, a moving magnifying glass for indexing, etc.

Thanks, Angela. The new icon is much better than a warning sign, but, to be quite frank, it is kind of strange. A blue circle with a 1??? Not quite sure what that's supposed to mean. And no difference between downloading, indexing, new version? I hope this is just a quick solution as you work out a more permanent one.

That was my thought also. If that was supposed to be an "I" for "indexing," it's a fail.

The number of messages that can be seen on hover/click. I currently see a 2 in the blue circle (indexing [a resource it auto-installed earlier] plus a resource ready to be installed after a restart, which makes me curious,but maybe it's currently in use), some minutes ago it was even a 3 (preparing the library was one of the messages).
