Just received a 4.4 mb update - any idea what it its about?
I got it also and it was God's Word Translation Bible.
Looks like an update to the God's Word translation. At least that's the only thing on my system with a 1-7-10 date, and it's 4,474KB (about 4.4MB).
More about this relatively unknown translation can be found here:

Not a clue. It's some sort of resource update, but Microsoft also wanted to know about the Logos 4 indexer again when this update was running. The Media Defender is fixated on the Logos indexer.
I was hoping that it was Logos 4.0b so I could use my morph search.
Thanks guys
Mike,
Are you downloading the betas or waiting on SR candidates?
4.0b beta 2 was released yesterday afternoon and fixed the morph crash introduced by beta1.
It also fixed the scroll bar issue in morph search results from non Biblical texts.
I think they are still working on some of the issues that you and Damian identified in another thread.
Me, too.
After reading all the warnings against using a Beta version, I decided to wait for 4.0b and live without morph searches in Logos 4; I'll just use Libronix 3.0g/Logos 3 in the meanwhile for this.
There must be some way of letting us know what an installation is downloading. I find it a little disconcerting that my system is downloading stuff, and I have no control (apart from turning updates off) or knowledge of what it is doing without doing a search through the forums.
Where do you find this information in Logos? I keep getting updates and have no idea what resources are being added...
You can watch log files or you can open the resource folder (in Windows) and sort by date modified.
How do I do that? The only sortable columns I see are: Type, Title, Author, Mytags, and Rating when I bring up Resources.

You need to look at the files in Windows Explorer.
See this thread for more details:

Hi Russ,
Actually I'm not participating in the current beta program. I paid for a release version of Logos 4 and that's what I use. Well, that's what I use to read resources. If I want to do any in-depth study then I open up BibleWorks 8 and carry on with the task at hand.
I need software that I can be productive with, so that's what I'm currently using. No doubt Logos 4 will eventually get around to being a useful product for my purposes, but for right now it might as well be Adobe Reader, without the printing provisions.
Besides, if I used the beta, then I sort of lose my license to criticize the software and I paid real folding green for that license.
Mike
I don't know, Mike. I'd encourage you to reconsider.
I think your input into the Beta development could be very valuable to Logos.
Detailed suggestions on the latest Beta builds can have more impact because the attention of the developers are on those issues.
I'm not as strong in Hebrew as you so I don't follow all the details that you, Damian, George, and some others provide on Hebrew text issues.
But I know enough about it to recognize that you are addressing issues there that are similar to the issues I want to see addressed with Greek resources.
Besides your right to criticize is freely protected by the First Amendment. You don't have to buy a license.[;)]
Now time to mess with it . . . that is a totally different story!
Thank you Richard. That did the trick. I now have a hard copy printed with my directory printer. Very nice!
