[resolved] Commentary doesn't show as commentary

I just bought The Psalms as Christian Lament, by Bruce Waltke and others. It's a commentary on a selection of psalms, companion volume to The Psalms as Christian Worship.
The latter book shows up in the passage guide, for the psalms it covers. The former does not. That is, if I throw Psalm 5:2 in, the Waltke volume does not display along with all the other commentaries.
So how do I fix that? or get it fixed?

Daniel, I don't have the second volume so cannot verify what you've reported.
My first thought is that indexing may not be complete on the volume. Can you search that volume for <Psa 5:2>?

I think there is a bit of a problem in the tagging. See https://community.logos.com/forums/p/104310/721013.aspx#721013 where I refrain from using the terms that came to mind.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Indexing doesn't control whether a resource appears in the Passage Guide.

- are they in the same collection (the one you use in the Commentaries section of PG)?
- is it prioritized high enough so it doesn't get lost at the bottom of your commentaries in PG e.g in the top 10?
- in Library does it appear with the filter type:commentary?

I want to thank everyone for the responses. I will be able to start working through them probably in about two hours. Just didn't want you to feel I'd asked, gotten answers, and disappeared into a cloud of ingratitude.

Huh? Then I really misunderstand what is going on. How would the PG 'find' a resource that refers to the passage if not by a search?

In the Commentaries section, it's found through the "milestone index" that's in the resource. (This is completely separate from the full-text index that is built via indexing.)
In the Collections section, results do come from the full-text index, so this could be affected by indexing. Sorry for the incomplete answer above; I assumed the Commentaries section was being discussed.

OK: no, it does not turn up.
I see that the other book (Worship) has Bible Commentary, then a dot, then commentary; commentaryexegetical; psalms; worship. The Lament volume just says Bible Commentary.
Is that what you're asking about?
Neither is in a collection.

All right, now a new weirdness. If I search for Psalm 5:2, the passage guide doesn't bring the Waltke volume up; but if I search 5:3, it does. But there is a comment on each verse.
So... go figure.

I'm going to guess that the Passage Guide is opening a previously-saved guide. This will not include newly-added resource. You can force it to refresh by either right-clicking the Commentaries section header and choosing Refresh, or reset the entire guide by choosing "Delete this guide" on the panel menu.

You're killing me.
I was going to say "Really good guess, but no" — because I would re-enter the verse number (5:1, 5:2, 5:3), and it would never show for 5:2.
But then I did "Refresh," and... see, this is why you pull down the big bucks! Thanks.
Odd I've never run into this before, adding books.

In the Commentaries section, it's found through the "milestone index" that's in the resource.
Good to know. Thanks.
