Highlighting
I am currently doing an inductive Bible study. I love that some of the inductive markings are available on the iOS apps (wish there were more). In several instances I combine markings from highlights, emphasis, solid colors and even inductive to create my own marking.
Two questions...1) can I save my own "creations" for use later; and, if not, 2) can I copy my creation to use again immediately. I am aware of, and have used, the touch and drag method to use the same individual marking but I am more interested in the combined markings. For instance, I have a marking that consists of a highlight, bold text, and text color. Currently I must mark each occurrence in three steps. I am looking to simplify this task.

Welcome Traci! [:)]

I'm afraid I don't quite know what you are asking... it seems like you want to create your own styles. Is that right? If so, you will need to do this in the desktop app. Do you have that installed? Which version?

Yes, I would like to create my own styles. Unfortunately, unless there is a free version of the desktop app, I do not have one. At this time I am unemployed and am unable to afford anything more than a free app. [:)]

There is! https://www.logos.com/product/46767/logos-6-core-engine
And make sure to load all that matters for you from the great free stuff, such as Faithlife Study Bible (with infographics etc.), Lexham Bible Dictionary... https://www.logos.com/products/search?start=0&sort=pricelo&pageSize=60
and the free Vyrso e-books https://vyrso.com/products/search?q=&start=&sort=pricelo&pageSize=60 (you may want to sift through by genre)
Have joy in the Lord!

Thank you so much for letting me know that. I will play around with the desktop app and be back if I have further questions.

Mick provided the links... the software is always free... but there may be missing features without paying for the datasets needed to run them. You should not have any troubles with highlighters.

Okay, one more quick question (because you've been so helpful). I was able to create my own styles, but when I use the on the ipad/iphone app they don't show up. They show as a basic yellow highlight.

Nevermind. I walked away for about ten minutes, came back and it was fine.
