[resolved] Kindle PaperWhite Edition

I bought a Kindle PaperWhite because reading for long hours on my Surface Pro 3 or Smartphone for long hours is killing my eyes and giving me headaches. Now with the E-ink and being able to send books from Logos to Kindle I can enjoy more of my library than ever before Or at least that was the goal. haha

Today I sent 3 books I am reading along with the NRSV Bible. Software shows them sent - took maybe 15 minutes for all 4 to go out. But they still don't show up in my Kindle account to download to my Kindle. I've sync'd my Kindle once every hour to check for new content. None. I've looked in my Kindle account online None are there. I tried looking in the Kindle app on my Smartphone - not there. I just now sent the Amplified Bible - waiting for it to complete in Logos Software.

Is anyone else using a Kindle PaperWhite to read their books on? Are you having any problems? I called Logos Today and they said the books showed sent to my Kindle account, but they aren't showing up 4 hours later. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. The only reason I bought a Kindle was to read books from Logos Library - I don't have time for other books at this time - so I'm hoping I can get this figured out.

Yep. No problems... although some users had difficulties today with the "send to kindle" feature. I am unsure if that was related to the Logos servers, or the Amazon ones. The feature works through the "send to kindle" email feature.

The first thing to check: Make sure the email address you provided Logos matches the "send to kindle" email address FOR THAT DEVICE. This isn't the email address you use to Log into Logos. This isnt the email address you use to log into Amazon. It is the email address for that specific device. Have you verified that they match?

Here is the path you can use to check your "send to" email address for your paperwhite: www.amazon.com | Your Account | Manage Your Content and Devices | Your Devices

Once you have navigated to the "Your Devices" page, click on your paperwhite and look for the email address. It must match EXACTLY to the one found in your FL account (step 1)

Hmm, it might be the servers having issues today then. I verified the email address was the kindle.com email address they assign to the kindle. I checked it 3 times to be absolutely sure. I'll wait until tomorrow and see if it's still not working. From all of the help areas on Logos and Kindle it appears everything should be working. Since others have had some issues today I'll give it another day to see what happens

I just checked by sending two resources I hope to read in the near future... they sent without issue in under 5 minutes. Using the same path I provided earlier, you can click on the "Your Content" tab and change the "show" field to "docs" (personal documents... the method FL uses to "send to kindle" your eBooks) to see if they arrived. If they appear in the "docs" section, you can manually resend them to your device. If that doesn't work, I believe you should be able to retry in Logos as well.

I'm sorry, I must have not been clear before. The books arrived on my device. Less than 5 minutes from send to received.

I checked under docs through the Your Content tab, but doesn't find any documents.

I would try resending them from L6.

One last question, then I'll go fiddle around and see what I'm doing wrong. Are you using USB to transfer them or just through WiFi? Thank you again for your help. At least I know someone else's is working - there is hope!
