Crossway is offering the Global Study Bible for free:
https://www.crossway.org/blog/2015/04/why-were-giving-away-the-esv-global-study-bible-to-everyone/
This includes versions for Kindle and Nook. Any chance of getting it ported to LOGOS or Vryso?

Chance of getting it in Logos? Maybe. Chance of it being free? Doubtful. It's not free for Kindle either. http://www.amazon.com/Global-Study-Bible-Bibles-Crossway-ebook/dp/B009NL7244/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1430310004&sr=1-1&keywords=global+study+bible
It is only free from Crossway themselves and to get it on a device that doesn't have the ESV Bible app you have to do some work.
Not a great deal of work - it is available in MOBI format.
I agree that is likely to not be free - unless Crossway provides a doc formatted version, allowing us to make a PB.

I did try to convert it in Calibre, but the software kept crashing. It is a huge file, over 100mb.
I would love to have this in Logos (even if its only the vyrso edition).
Are you saying that EVERY bible reference is already tagged for Logos? Tagging every verse reference is not usually a trivial task. Just importing it without as a PBB and all you have is an ebook not a study bible.
MOBI is the standard format for Kindle. I originally suggested that Crossway may want to make a version available as a DOCX file for use as a personal book.
So how can you read it in kindle? Just import the file into your kindle files? or something else?
David, I tried converting the epub version via Calibre and it handled the job without crashing. The epub version is less than a third of the file size of the mobi version. The process generated a docx file that was only slightly larger than the epub original.
Having said that, the resulting 55+mb docx file causes a very quick crash in Logos 5 on both my MBP and my Mac Mini when I try to build a personal book using the file.
Nothing like getting close, only to have the hopes dashed! I'm sure that it has been posted on the forums a few times, but could somebody tell me what is the maximum docx file size that L5 can handle for a PB build?

See ;this thread for some discussion on this topic:

At least last year there was no small size limitation, though I have no idea how big your project is becoming.

I experienced the same when I went from ePub to DocX to LOGOS 6.
However, after I took a few minutes to load the DocX file into MS Word and resave it, I received a message saying it was being saved in the newest format. Note, I used a new name so I could distinguish it from the original file. This "newest format" file loaded in the Personal Book Compiler without error and compiled the entire file with no error messages. Links with book, chapter, and verse references open the expected Bible passages. Links with only chapter and verse references or only verse references do not link to the expected Bible passage.
Let me know if this helps.

Thank you, Floyd & David. Great idea, Floyd. I would have thought that the latest version of Calibre would have saved to a fairly current docx format, so I would not have thought to open and re-save the docx file. Trying your idea did the trick. The problem was not the file size, it appears to have been something about the format of the Calibre-generated docx file that did not get along with the Logos Personal Books tool. After re-saving the file in MS Word, I was able to build the PB version just fine. Thanks again!

Actually, I discovered it quite by accident. After seeing the same problem that you were seeing, I thought there might be something wrong with the docx file - to check that I loaded it into MS-Word. That worked without errors, so I thought I would try saving it. I had seen a similar problem when moving between LibreOffice and MS-Word. It did the trick, but I was just as surprised as you were. I was working in Windows, so I did not know if my solution would also work on a Mac.
Glad it did and glad to be of help.
Floyd
