[resolved] Logos 6 won't open

And on a personal note for the few who asked for updates on my transition from Bible software PR and social media employee to USMC pilot, here's a quick update:

(for the rest of you, please indulge me briefly...this won't likely be of much interest at all...I just don't have personal email addresses for most of the people who asked)

Last update, I believe, put me having just completed OCS and The Basics School in VA. Since then, I went down to Pensacola, FL and trained up in a Piper Warrior (around 14 hours time)

Next I flew about 85 hours in the T-6 Texan II. If anyone is interested, my wife was able to shoot a video of my final flight in this sporty plane. It was a solo formation flight. I was Dash 2 (the wingman). Excuse the shakiness. It was shot with excitement and love.  https://youtu.be/fgYpwkRakDs

After that, I flew just under 30 hours in the TH-57 Sea Ranger:

After that, we moved to Corpus Christi, TX for a 6 month stint training in the TC-12B. I flew around 35 hours in this aircraft getting trained up in the challenges of multi-engine flight when you lose power on one side and have to deal with asymmetric thrust.

All of this was in preparation for where I am now--training in the first ever tilt-rotor aircraft, with the abilities to hover and land in confined areas like a helicopter but then convert into a more traditional airplane configuration for high/far/fast flight: the MV-22B Osprey:

We now live in Jacksonville, NC and have 4 children; the oldest turned 5 in January and the youngest was born this past November. We have been able to get actively involved in our churches along the way and have had ample opportunity to show Christ's love and goodness, share the Gospel, and grow in our own sanctification.

As you think of it, we covet your prayers in this spiritually austere environment that is the Marine Corps. It's a great experience with a lot of adventure and opportunity to explore Creation, but it comes with its fair share of stressers and challenges.

HAHA! Well, I decided to try a reinstall one more time concurrent with my forum post as a just-in-case. Lo and behold, it worked this time! I really don't know what the hangup was, but I guess that's water under the bridge at this point.
