Believer's Bible Commentary Text Missing - Some of 1 Corinthians 13:8 and all of 13:13

Believer's Bible Commentary Text Missing - Part of 1 Corinthians 13:8 and all of 13:13
Part of 1 Corinthians 13:8 text that is missing:
There are two principal interpretations of verses 8-13. One traditional view is that the gifts of prophecy, tongues, and knowledge will cease when believer's enter the eternal state. The other view is that these gifts have already ceased, and that this occurred when the Canon of Scripture was completed. In order to present both views, we will paraphrase verses 8 through 12 under the labels ETERNAL STATE and COMPLETED CANON.
1 Corinthians 13:13 text that is missing:
13:13 Faith, hope, and love are what Kelly calls "the main moral principles characteristic of Christianity." These graces of the Spirit are superior to the gifts of the Spirit, and they are more lasting, too. In short, the fruit of the Spirit is more important than the gifts of the Spirit.

Undoubtedly you have compared against the hard copy version. I have looked up the digital version in my library and would have to agree with you. Good catch !!
May I suggest you report the missing text separately for the two instances to Logos/Faithlife using the "Report Typo" in the context menu.

Have already reported it to Logos/Faithlife using the "Report Typo" in the context menu. Thanks Alan.

I would add this topic to the "Logos needs a QA program in the worst possible way."

I'm sorry for the errors; I'll make sure the QA team in Content Production is made aware.
We have 50,000+ titles, representing billions of words. Each work sells a small number of copies, limiting what we can afford to put into each one. We purchase 99.98% accuracy in our keyboarding and other work, which still leaves room for many discoverable errors. (To invest in a higher rate of accuracy is possible, but the cost goes up so much we'd only be able to do a fraction of what we do now.)
We have a dedicated, full-time maintenance team that reviews typo reports and other bugs and prioritizes works based on number of reports and the number of users using that resource.
Again I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you Mr. Pritchett. This is the third missing text I have found in the Believer's Bible Commentary. With all due respect, this is absolutely ridiculous. Purchasing 99.98% accuracy, I should not be finding all of these missing texts; and no doubt, I will find more. Thank you for making the QA team in Content Production aware of this. I expect for this to be rectified ASAP.

As a quick point of clarity: This book was produced in 2003. I wasn't around then so I can't speak to how the book was produced then. I know enough to say that the process was very different. It's possible that the source files we were working with were incomplete.
The numbers Bob provided are consistent with current production standards and systems.
As for this resource, it's in the queue for a full proofread/correction.
