I have been waiting for Logos to offer this book for years. I have both the multi-volume New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology as well as the abridged version and in my opinion the abridged version actually surpasses the multi-volume in quality. If anyone is consideering purchasing the New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology ($135.99) I would recommend choosing the abridged version instead ($30.99 pre-pub).
Highly recommended by John Glynn in his Commentary & Reference Survey. Glyn writes that it is an "ample abridgment of the NIDNTT (35 percent plus 7 percent new entries), excercising classic references, topical articles, theological digressions, bibliographies, etc."
The average review on Amazon is 4.6 out of 5. The lowest score is a 3 (5 for content but marked down by the reviewer for poor quality binding - something that e book readers don't need to worry about
).
I am hoping that this will more out of pre pub quickly.
