Send to Kindle 'Kindle upload in progress'

I have set up my Amazon account to accept email from @logos.com and have set my kindle address in Logos. After clicking on 'Send to kindle' on two different titles neither have sent and both have been reporting 'Kindle upload in progress' for over 12 hours which seems a quite long enough for it to have worked (unless there is someone at Logos or Amazon actually retyping the book ).
Exiting Logos and rebooting the computer in between hasn't changed this either, so I'm not really sure what is going on!
Any suggestions/help much appreciated!
Thanks

I seem to recall that even though the "Kindle upload in progress" message didn't go away, the book had already uploaded. Did you check your Kindle or Kindle app to see if it was there?

Thanks, Rosie. I've checked and unfortunately they're not on my Kindle.

Are you able to email PDFs to yourself at your Kindle address and does that work fine to get onto your Kindle?

Thanks again! Yes - emailing documents to my Kindle works fine.

I'm going on 26 or more hours and no titles are on my Kindle. I'm seeing "Upload in progress" in Logos... Nothing yet... Their servers must be seriously backlogged. None of the titles I submitted seem to be completed.

I've brought this thread to the attention of our Documents team, someone there will be able to determine what the hold-up is. Sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime. [:(]

Hi Dustin,
I try to send a couple of books to my kindle device, but unfortunately I realized I sent them to the wrong device by using the old email kindle account instead of the new one for my new device.
How can I change the kindle email account in logos so I can send it to the right device?

you have to call Faithlife customer service.

You know... This is going to be a major pain. Because of my job, I regularly wipe my phone where I have kindle installed... Each time this happens, kindle registers a new device, and that new device had a new address.. Each time I have to call faith life to update? No problem for me, but you all are going to be fielding a lot of calls...

Can we expect at some point that this will be user changeable?
No; it's restricted to CS to prevent a malicious person sending the same library to multiple devices.
If you own the @kindle.com email address, you can reassign it to your devices, so there shouldn't be a legitimate need to change it often.

Help me understand "if you own the kindle email address"
If I reset my phone, Kindle sees the "old" phone (before resetting it) and it sees the "new" phone (After resetting it) too... It assigns a "New" email address to the "New" phone (actually the old phone, but reset). I end up with so many "android devices" in my account, but they are actually the same device, just with new Android OS installs.
I have not seen a way to transfer one email address from an old Android installation to a new android installation. If I am missing something, please let me know.

It is annoying when you get multiple "kindles". But this is what I do:
- Go to Amazon's Manage Your Content and Devices
- Click on the first phone you owned, and copy the first part of email address to the clipboard.
- Deregister that phone, and any other duplicate phones (apart from the current one).
- Set the email address of your current phone by clicking "edit" and pasting the old email address from the clipboard.
This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!
