Welcome to the forums.
I've created a bug report as there appears to be a problem creating groups. I'll get back to you when its working.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Hi Dustin,
The groups page allows me to start a new group, but I'm not sure how I use this to set up a reading plan.
Could you give me a little more guidance?
Thanks,
Phill

Thanks. I found the same problems when I used Internet Explorer. So now I use Chrome to set up my group.
Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
God bless,
Phill

After creating a group, click on the "News" tab. You'll see a widget on the right hand side that looks like this. Click "Add" at the top and click on a reading plan template to begin a new group reading plan. You can also use the free Logos 6 engine to create a customized reading plan instead of picking one from a template.

thanks. This helps a lot.
Just one other question: can you start your own bible reading plan?
If so, how do you add it into the engine?

I've got the free Logos engine. I've entered all the information about the reading plan I wish to start up. But the generate button is unavailable.
I've set up the range, date to start, length of the readings and the group who will do it.
But that's as far as I can go. Any tips?

Can you post a screenshot showing the reading plan you are trying to create?

Thanks Phil - and it looks very strange
It looks as though you are trying to use a pre-defined plan. Is that correct?
You should see the list of available plans when in "create mode" but the "Overview, Calendar, List" buttons appear after the plan has been created.
And you should also get options for choosing Bible versions and frequency
It looks as though this is in a "half-way" state without some of the required options.
Exactly what version of Logos 6 software are you using?
And I am doing this on Windows - it is possible that what you are seeing is something to do with the Mac version but I haven't seen any similar reports

Hi Graham,
it is a predefined plan that I've tried to use. I've also tried to set the range on a book (1 Corinthians) too. This would be my preferred method.
I have downloaded the free Logos engine 6 on both Mac and PC.
Graham, are you located in Australia? If so is it possible for me to call you (or you me) either this afternoon or tomorrow?

Very strange - I still don't understand how the software ended up with the display you showed in your screenshot (but I may be missing something obvious).

What happened when you tried? Did it allow you to set the range but then didn't give you a "Start" option?
If you try and set up personal plans - as opposed to group plans - does that work ok?
Do either of the videos https://www.logos.com/training/logos6/desktop/reading-plans-2 or https://www.logos.com/training/logos6/desktop/reading-plans-3 help at all?

Sorry - I'm based in England so I don't think that's going to be an option

Phil,
Do you have any bibles downloaded to Logos 6? If not, you can get a free copy of the Lexham English Bible and use that to generate custom reading plans.
