Hello. I Need help. Suddenly, upon login, a window appears saying: Logos Bible Software has stopped working.
Hello Jeff
We need to start with some logs as explained here --> https://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging
Please zip the log files folder and upload using the paper-clip icon.
0116.Logos Log Files.rar
Please use WinZip or equivalent to produce a 'zip' file.
I am sorry I don't know how to do this. I hope this one is ok.6675.Logos Log Files.zip
Thanks Jeff
It appears that a file is missing (and potentially more). It is identified as "System.IdentityModel" but I don't know what that particular file is.
I expect a "Repair" of Logos Bible Software from the Control Panel or a reinstallation would be the way to go - the software can be installed from https://www.logos.com/product/46767/logos-6-core-engine#requirements
Graham
Thanks. I have already re-installed 3 times. I even went back to Logos 5.
I have already re-installed 3 times.
Then I suggest you wait for other suggestions here or contact Customer Services - details at https://www.logos.com/contact
I even went back to Logos 5.
I would advise against doing that - that could add to complications
What does this mean?
When I "repair" in control panel, this is what happened.
You don't have the necessary access rights to the folders containing the Logos software.
Did you install the software using Administrator rights? If so, that could be causing the issue.
Does the article at https://wiki.logos.com/Fixing_Logos_4_folder_Ownership help at all?
