Highlighting Markups No Longer Show Up
I have a Kindle Fire and about 2 months ago all my highlighting disappeared. I am able to highlight verses and it says that markups are added, and they appear on my PC and Android phone app, but they do not appear on my Kindle Fire app, yet when I tap on the verses that I highlighted, it highlighting bar appears, showing that it is highlighted, but the highlights are not visible. Did not have this problem until recently and I've owned and operated the app for 2 years with no problem.
While not a serious issue, it is annoying. I have the latest version of the app from the Amazon Store.
Anyone else have this issue?

Hi Andrew - and welcome to the forums.
Can you check in View Settings and see whether Notes are set to show or not?
this needs to be selected for highlights to be visible.

Thank you Graham. I checked the settings and it is selected to see notes which makes it even more strange because commentary notes I have added to verses appear highlighted and I can view my comments that I have written days, weeks and months ago.

Kevin, Thanks for your interest in my dilemma! Yes I am still having the issue. It is so weird because the highlights show on my Droid phone & in my Logos program on my PC. Even in my Kindle app when I click on it it shows that it is highlighted, but the highlight just doesn't show. But highlights show for any verse where I have added a note. Lord Bless!

I am having a similar problem. I just loaded logos on my Kindle Fire and my notes are visible, but none of my highlights are showing.

I think the problem is that only a few of document files are showing up on the Kindle Fire. I have several notes files, and only the most recent one is showing up. Highlights from that note file are working on the Kindle, and I can highlight new passages of Scripture on my Kindle as well. But the entire document file that contains my old highlights, and nearly all of my note files are just not showing up on the Kindle.

I don't think my problem is note files. When I highlight texts in my Kindle they don't show up, but will show up on my Logos app on my Droid phone and computer. The markup is there, just doesn't show up in Kindle.

I can highlight in my Kindle and it shows up. Also the highlights in my note file show up in the Kindle. For me, the problem is that I only have ONE note file visible on my kindle. I have over a dozen note files but only one of them is listing on the Kindle document list. The highlighting note file is not listed there either. So I am missing all my highlights and all but one of my note files.

Which exact model of the Kindle Fire are you using? This issue has occurred before with older Kindle devices and the solution is to downgrade to version 4.3.9 of the Logos app.

We made a mistake by not deselecting all of the devices we should have when shipping version 4.5.0 - I apologize. The following Kindle devices are no longer supported because they all run versions of Fire OS based on Android 4.0.3:
- Kindle Fire HD 8.9" (2nd Gen)
- Kindle Fire HD 7" (2nd Gen)
- Kindle Fire (2nd Gen)If you have one of these devices please follow these instructions to download the previous Logos 4.3.9 version that should still work.
1) Turn on "Allow Installation of Applications from unknown sources" in your Kindle Settings
2) Remove the Logos 4.5.0 app and download version 4.3.9 from http://downloads.logos.com/Android/Logos/kindle/index.html
3) Install Logos 4.3.90
