app.logos.com Update coming?

Hello,

I subscribed to Logos Now and I just received my first renewal. Elsewhere, I had seen a screenshot that showed that Passage Guide was working on the app on one thread. However, another thread said that there were nothing improved.

I have been using Google Chrome browser and I don't see an improvement. I don't even see my picture in the top right-hand corner. I clearly have signed in, because it says Logos Beta on the top left-hand corner. However, nothing works. It says "Check Back Soon".

Could someone tell me if there has been an improvement or if I am doing something wrong?

Thanks

Well actually there has been a slight improvement to the interface and speed but no apparent major feature changes that I can see.

BIG FAIL. This is the reason why I signed up for Logos Now.

Still I don't see everything worth $8.99 even with the today's update.

Seriously, $3.99 would be the right price. $8.99 is pushing it too far with the so little contents.

If you want us pay $8.99 monthly and support your company & workers then do it right.

Why would Logos flaunt the Web App when it not even ready at all.

    Marketing FAILED

They haven't really flaunted it nor provided it as a main point of Logos Now. They have always said it is a sneak beta preview, a work in progress. They have never advertised it as anything differently.

Some people are looking forward for concordance, some people are looking forward for the grammatical stuffs, some people are looking forwards for web app.

    Much more, Netflix is $7.99/month, Amazon Prime/Music/Movie/2DayShipping/PrimePhoto/KindleLending $8.31/month, Google Music (all-you-can-eat) $9.99. Logos.... $8.99.

Let's just talk about the price, I'm not even gonna go on the contents.

Mike, Faithlife probably has about 1 - 3 million customers. All the companies names above have a customer base for their products I believe in the mid to high millions. Bob has indicated that he would like the price to go down eventually. Just my two cents. [:)]

Neither Netflix nor Amazon Prime was built in a day.

Lynden, while we have almost 3 million registered users, most of those are free users of our mobile apps, like the Faithlife Study Bible and Bible!. Our paying customer base for the desktop software is much, much smaller.

All of those other subscription products are largely content bundles, on a (largely) stable tech platform. (Though I'll give it to Netflix -- they've got big technical issues!) But they do have much larger install bases, and most are several years old. Logos Now isn't even a toddler -- it's about six weeks old! :-)

You should see it increase in value continually, and I hope everyone will find a reason to consider it well worth the price soon.

The term Logos NOW has an implication of NOW. Yes, NOW!

Neither the rest of the features has implications of NOW except Web App.

Web App is the only reason why I think Logos called the name Logos NOW. Because you can have access of Logos library (different than biblia website) right NOW. You literally have access of your laptop across the globe with Logos NOW without your personal laptop/desktop.

If there's no Web App, Logos need to call the subscription Logos TECHNICAL or something else, don't call it Logos NOW, because it is somewhat misleading.

That is a severe misread of the marketing. The Now refers to you get future features (like concordance) now.  You get to use a beta web app, now. Remember, a beta should never be treated as a final product.
