New Feature: Author Slide Templates
What is it?
With a growing list of over 100 templates, add visual enhancements to your presentations with Author Slide Templates, vibrant enough to catch your audience’s attention but subtle enough to not be distracting. How does it work?

While I don't believe there is currently a way to sort by the most recently added author additions, you should be able to find all the author additions within LogosNow by selecting the collection "Author Slide Templates."

Yeah I knew how to do that. Just always curious as to what has been added. Perhaps this would be a good feature addition? Some kind of sort by date added?

I think most recent is always at the top, anyway.

Does this require a Logos Now subscription? It was listed under the Logos 7 Release Page and it doesn't mention anything about needing a subscription to access it, but I can't find these slides in my media browser via a search for authors like Keller and Wright. I also can't find the "Author Slide Templates" collection either.

This is the first paragraph of the Logos 7 Release Page. I have bolded some things for emphasis:

Thanks for the reply. To be honest I still find it confusing and I'm just trying to sort it all out. The parts you highlighted are pretty clear in and of themselves, but which ones are in which category aren't so clear to me. For example, the author slides are listed under a section titled "Other Logos 7 features." As an average user, I read this and think "I bought Logos 7 - this should apply to me." I don't see anything about it being for Logos Now next to it. The author slides are also under the sub-section "Media." None of the 7 items listed under this section have "subscription" next to them.
Perhaps it's clear to some (thank you for being patient with me if I'm missing the obvious) but unless the item says "subscription" next to it, shouldn't owning all the Logos 7 features and datasets include everything else on this page?

That would make sense. To be honest, I can't tell you if this is actually a LN only feature or not. Before you asked your question, my understanding was that a limited number of author slides were made available to own in L6 base packages, and that future ones would be LN only. I could be wrong, but that is how I understood things.

Is this thread just for the ffolliclly challenged? Does the feature work with authors with hair? Is there some sort of bias on the part of the OP?

Just as an update to anyone following this thread I did call Logos today and eventually after being transferred around the rep was able to determine that the Author Slides were indeed a part of Logos Now and not a regular L7 feature. I did suggest that Jacob update his post by putting the word "subscription" next to it like the other subscription features had, but the person I was speaking with seemed much more interested in selling me a new mobile ed course than they did listening to my concerns about being clear to customers about what they were buying.
Normally I have great experiences with Logos but as my father would say "you can't bat 1000 every time." [:)]
