adverts on app.logos.com
Can we get rid of the banner adverts on app.logos.com? At the moment there is a large graphical ad for the treasure hunt at the botttom of every page of every book i try to read through the app including the bible. It is quite annoying and i don't think books i've bought should be branded with logos ads like this. Maybe the ad on the app home page but not when reading books.

I'm not seeing these ads. Can you paste
- your OS
- your browser version
- the exact URL you're visiting
- (if possible) a screenshot of the browser showing the problem

I don't see them on the desktop, but they were on the mobile version viewed from my Nexus 7 with Chrome browser when I checked earlier.

I don't see this on Mac or iOS using Chrome or Safari. Do you have any add ons which might cause the ads? Does nexus have any freemium software?

Ah that I think it must be the mobile version of the site that has the adverts - I was looking at it using Chrome on my Android tablet. On my PC there are no adverts. (plus lots a few features not in the mobile version!).
Maybe the mobile version could have a "view full site" button somewhere sort of like logos.com does?

It will only appear when the mobile version is requested. That would be smaller android and ios devices. If you have a user agent switcher, you can see it from a desktop browser by faking android or iphone user agent.

No. Just plain Chrome browser.

Mobile Chrome does have that option in the menu at top right. You will want to use landscape orientation. It does work just like the desktop.

Thanks, I didn't know about that option in Chrome.

I tried both my iPhone 5c and iPad. I had no problems with Chrome (no ads) on either device.

I find the advert on my iPhone when I scroll to the bottom of the page (in portrait view), but I do not see it on my iPad. Both are IOS 8.3.

Yep. I see it now... below all the text. I didn't scroll down that far.

I think the first few pages I looked at were quite short (intro pages to a book) so the ad was more noticeable without scrolling.
On some pages the ad is halfway down the page - this is when there are footnotes after the main text on a page. The ad comes between the main text and the footnotes.
Probably just some simple tweak needed to the pages to turn off the ads in the mobile site pages.
