Bible Works Fonts Copy and Paste to Logos 5

I am currently in seminary and the Greek professor uses Bible Works for his word doc assignments. I have Logos 5 and I would like to be able to copy and paste his font (BWGRKL) into Logos and query on it but there is some translation lost. For example: copy "λογος" into the search field and this is what pastes "lo,goj". Is there a special font that I can download to logos 5 that will allow me to query without typing every word out?

I don't know the answer to your question, but your thread is likely to be moved to the L5 forum. Out of curiosity, is there a reason you haven't updated to the free L6 engine? Unless you are on an old computer unable to update, it is recommended you keep up with updates.

Your professor shouldn't really be using the BWGRKL font in that way. He should be using Unicode, which has been the preferred method for nearly a decade now. In fairness, it's mostly Biblework's fault — they've been incredibly slow to adopt unicode.

Thanks Alabama24, I just updated to L6 and am working toward personalizing it. I have not really had another chance to check to see if I can get the copy and paste feature to work correctly.

The page title is "Greek Legacy Fonts to Unicode Converters", which is what you want to do: Bibleworks font to unicode. Once it's in unicode, it will paste into Logos just fine.

I thought the best of these for you is Galaxie's Biblescript, but I hadn't realised that's been discontinued. There are several other options on that page that support BibleWorks. They're Word macros, so you'd have to paste into Word, then copy/paste into Logos.

Another alternative is this: http://userpages.fu-berlin.de/~vlaisney/ which says it will covert BW into Unicode. I haven't tested it though.
