Notes taken on Android tablet don't show up on desktop
I've been attaching notes to references using the Android app. Is really handy, especially if I use the Google speech to text feature. The app lets me create documents for the notes and I've been titling them with the name of whichever book of the Bible the note is referenced to. I tried to access my notes on my desktop (I'm using Logos 5) and can't find them. Can someone walk me through it? Thanks.

What version of the Android app are you running?

Yes, there have been some Note changes in the last 6 months - 4.3.9 was released last November. Please upgrade to 4.6.0 and see if the issue still occurs.

Ok, so I updated the Android app, restarted it and gave it time to upload all my note documents. I just started Logos 5 and still no notes. Any more ideas?

If you login to documents.logos.com do your notes appear?

document.logos.com
I think this should be documents.logos.com (documents needed the "s")

Yes - thank you for the correction!

Yes, the documents are there. And, yes, it did need the "s". So, I must be doing something wrong when trying to access them. When Logos opens I click on the the 'documents' tab and choose the 'notes' menu item. That opens a window that will let me enter a new note. How do I get to my existing notes?

If the notes you have created with the Android app are present at documents.logos.com, this indicates they are uploading properly to our servers. If they are not visible in Logos 5 on the Desktop, this isn't an Android app issue.
On the Desktop side have you enabled any visual filters that might prevent your notes from displaying?

Visual filters? Not sure what they are. If I have any I didn't make them.

You're welcome.

The visual display of the highlights/notes you've made can be turned on/off on both mobile and Desktop apps.
Please post the URL of this thread to the Logos 5 forum at https://community.logos.com/forums/109.aspx - if your mobile notes sync to documents.logos.com but do not appear in Logos 5 Desktop, it's not something the mobile team can fix.0 -

John, Do you see "Notes" section/heading on the right side of the Documents window? The "Notes" heading is in a list that may also include, "Word List," "Reading Plans," "Prayer List." Your existing notes should be found when you click on (expand) this "Notes" section on the right side of the documents window.

I'm using Logos 5
BTW, if you're running Windows 7 or later, you can update to Logos 6 for free: https://www.logos.com/install

@Todd Fusti -- Actually, it's on the left side of the window in a list of other headings you mentioned. When I click on it I just get a blank window where I can type a new note. What I want is to access the notes I took on my tablet.

Hi John,
Could you please confirm if you can see your Notes documents in the indicated area from my screenshots?
^ This is if you have the Documents panel sorted by Title. You can check the Type column for which documents are notes.
^ If you sort by the Type column, you'll see the headings Todd mentioned, and expanding the Notes heading will list all of your note documents.
I was worried at first when seeing this thread that something may have broken preventing mobile notes from appearing in Logos 5, but they're showing for me with no problem. If you don't see your documents listed above, I would recommend two things:
- Verify that you're logging into Logos 5 on the same account as your tablet
- If you're on the same account and they still aren't showing, contact our Tech Support. They may be able to help you figure out what's going wrong.

Well, nothing at all appears on the right side of the window except a passage list I made on the desktop awhile back. I'll check out the account thing, but I only have one account with Logos, so I don't see how that could be the problem.
