Tables (and small images) in note files

Logos is increasingly the place where I save a lot of information, even when it is found in a book not in Logos. I would love the ability to create simple tables (or at least let me cut and past a table from a text editor) as well as inserting images.

Images are not allowed, by design.

I routinely create tables in Microsoft Word, then copy and paste them into a Note file.

Yep I figured that was by design, that's why I'm requesting it :-)

Are you a PC user? Because I just tried creating a table in Word then pasting it and it didn't work. Regardless, a simple table creator in the note editor would be grand

As the Logos software has 'evolved', the paradigm for notes files has remained fairly stagnant. When originally conceived, I think the notes function did most of what people wanted to do. But as the software has grown, the way people use it has morphed into something much different, and the old conception of what a notes file should do has been badly outpaced with few changes.

UserVoice theads have been created and requests on the forums have been made (how's that for over-use of passive voice?). So far, to no avail. I hope this will change. I'd much rather see FL fix some of the features they have than come up with more stuff no one yet knows they need.
