Tried to open the hymn devotional, which I own, and here is what happens:
That's surprising. I'm not able to reproduce the issue in my home page.
Can you attach a log file including an occurrence of you clicking the link and the wrong resource opening?
Also, can you confirm that you can open Amazing Grace from your Library? What does `open LLS:20.10.5` in the command bar do?
Thanks!
It opens the resource. It is only from the Homepage that this does not work. It appears to be linking to the wrong resource, and when I click visit Logos.com it takes me to a resource that doesn't exist.
Sorry, I think I see what's happening:
The red arrow points to a link to the devotional. This link should open the book, just like opening it from the command bar / library.
The green arrow points to a link within the devotional to another resource (the midi hymnal). You can see this, if you open the devotional:
The home page is just getting the text from the resource and displaying it, so the link is correct. Apparently you don't own the book that the devotional is linking to.
Sorry for the confusion.
I'm guessing there is no way to change that since that resource is no longer available...
David, it doesn't make sense to me that you would have a daily devotional displayed that you don't own. So while what Jacob says is true, it doesn't satisfy me. Is there a chance that you've hidden the book? Is it still happening? If so, could you take a screenshot of your prioritization of calendar devotional?
Note: I have no problem with the same resource.

But he does own it! (I think [:)]) What he doesn't own is the MIDI hymnal, which is linked to from within the devotional.
Yes, I read too quickly ... and yes I can replicate the problem. I thought
LLS:LBXHYMNMR2014-10-07T22:42:16ZLBXHYMNMR.logos4 was the same resource. It was what I thought the devotional was linked to. I don't recall a hymnal midi that I didn't own. I'll start a new thread.

Logos doesn't either:
leads to:
maybe the links were meant to go to
LLS:39.20.22014-10-16T02:04:42ZPDHYMN.logos4
That link goes to LLS:39.20.7, which is "Steve Green's MIDI Hymnal", but the resource uses an alternate ID for the resource. It looks like there is a bug that prevents the application from properly checking alternate ID for missing resources. I will write up a bug report for this.
