Why Vyrso App Instead of Bible App?

Why would you use the Vyrso app instead of the full Bible app if Vyrso titles can be read in the Bible app? Is there a performance difference? Does it work better as a pure e-reader? Are all Logos titles able to be read in Vyrso?

I don't think so, but all Vyrso titles can be read in all Logos apps, not just Bible.

I think it's just markets. Buy Vyrso, read Vyrso. Same software at heart, absent the tools.
I used to use 4, essentially layouts, since the app doesn't support workspaces. Then I cut 2 and moved their subject groups over to my paperwhites.
I kept Noet and Biblia for the colors (since the apps are functionally the same off-line).

I use the Bible App with the split screen primarily for study and the Vyrso App for just reading. A nice feature of the recent Vyrso App is that you can set it to just show Vyrso titles.

My wife and I share a tablet. I use the Bible App for my account and she uses Vryso for her's. It's great to have them both separate.

As others have noted I tend to keep the Vyrso app set up for just reading through a book and leave the other apps for deeper study.

Not all Logos titles are mobile-enabled (although most are) but any resources you purchase which can be read in the Bible app can also be read in the Vyrso app

Hi ETMoore, welcome to the forums.
Both the Vyrso and Bible apps are free and can run side-by-side using the same account, so there is no need to run one app *instead* of the other.

Can you share your definition of "pure e-reader" and what working "better" means?

No - not every Logos title is enabled for the mobile apps. Every Logos title that *is* enabled for the mobile apps will work in all of them.

Yes, but remember that (on iOS), apps are "sandboxed," so you will double:
- The app size (of course)
- The note file storage (all notes will be downloaded to both apps)
- Downloaded resources (but only if you download the resource to both apps)
