When you click on the lectionary section of the Home Page, a default layout for studying the lectionary readings appears which has the following sections:

  • The Logos lectionary (Catholic - Latin rite - USA)
  • The Roman Missal, 3rd Typical edition
  • The top 5 prioritized Bibles
  • The highest priority commentary
  • The highest priority calendar devotional
  • The Cited By tool
  • The Explorer tool

However there are other items I would like to be able to access from this page. To do so, I made a series of collections:

I then requested that these (and a few other) collections appear in the Cited by tool:

This puts the Doctors of the church and the theologians who referenced today's lectionary reading at my fingertips. Note I've moved the tool to a full sized panel for this screenshot for visibility.

While the Cited By tools' settings affect it in all layouts, it is worth your time to customize it to show what is of interest to you - what you want at your fingertips.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
