I have 3 installs, first - Windows 7 x64 which was in the beta program of 6.4. Second, I have a Mac version which stayed on the latest 6.3 release (including SR's) until the update came across for 6.4. Third, I also have a Windows version of Logos at work, it too stayed on 6.3 until the update came out.
I watch my count of resources very closely, as I tag them all. After the Mac and work/Windows version of Verbum updated to 6.4, they both had 5 additional resources! Yet - a compare of the resources folder was identical between the Mac and the Windows version that was in beta testing. After the update, the two Verbum installs had 5 additional resources in my Library!
I have done some filtering to narrow it down, and I found the first resource - see attached graph. It is an old resource, but what the picture shows is if I open it via 'logosres:ecfrco.lsf' from the command box, it says I do not have a license. Yet if I locate it in my library, and click on it, it comes up - you can see it in the lower panel. It does not show up in my library on the Verbum install used for beta testing.
On the Mac I tried "Delete Unlicensed resources" - I can still open the resource on that computer and read the whole book.
So I am very confused what to do - this file is not in my beta testing library, yet it is in the resources folder. SCAN does not pick up the license either, I copied it to a separate folder and tried that.
So the problems seem to be:
1. I have licenses that appear to be honored on newly updated 6.4 installs of Verbum but not my regular working install that was in the beta test. I can fully read the book (and I suspect the other 4 resources, which I don't know what they are at the moment), yet they will not even appear in my library on the beta test Verbum install.
2. opening the file with 'logosres" appears not to work.
To me #1 is the more serious, how do I get all my licenses on my one computer? Thanks.
