Welcome to the club Jack.
Rosie, true this thread would be a casualty of that decision, but IMHO it is worth it.
First, we can always start a new fun thread with a link to the old one.
Second, I am tired of reading threads that are months old with negative topic titles that were resolved quickly (most often due to user error). These poorly titled threads give new users a bad first impression when in fact if they read the whole thread, it more often than not works in Logos' favor.
Finally, locking stale old threads will, I think, help us better track new posts with real questions.
Just an opinion though.

Joe, I totally agree with your suggestion to auto-lock old threads, and in fact had already posted my agreement to it in your thread. And I was only half-joking about not wanting to see this one get locked. I'm getting bored with it too, as with the Hijack thread. We can't really start any new fun ones as it is because we don't want to overwhelm the newbies with too much nonsense in the first screenworth of topic titles. Actually I don't have much time for nonsense anymore as the questions on the forum are keeping me busy.
BTW, what would you suggest as a better title for this thread? Or a new fun thread?
Someone must be using my account. The count keeps going up. Maybe Tom is trying to avoid becoming the charter member of the 2k club [H]
I feel honored in joining such an illustrious company.
I can't decide which line is most appropriate on this auspicious occasion.
guess I'll have to send some inspectors to your company to keep you busy at times like this!
The IRS has already been to see me! He must have thought we were good company. He came back 5 times. [:D] The main thing was that I had opportunity to give my son and grandchildren an example of patience in action (I could then take it out on the forum residents [:@])
Instead of putting a simple number of posts under our names, I think we should have 'levels.' So for every 100 points - uh posts - we advance one level. With each level we should get extra powers and abilities, like in World of Warcraft.
That way we could all gang up on Thomas (with almost 2000 posts now) and rob him of all his power.
[Yes this is a totally off-topic attempt at humor and hypocrisy.] [;)]

Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.
Tom,
In another post, did you say something about school (on top of ministry & posting)?
Blessings!
Probably. I was accepted to a nearby seminary to pursue a Masters of Biblical Languages (MABL) But alas, funding fell through and my first daughter on the way to college this coming fall has eliminated that part of my hopes for now.
