Text Comparison/Prioritization/Top Bibles - Mobile Issue (Android App/Biblia.com)

The text comparison tool within the Android App (4.0.0 Build 422) is not functioning correctly, as my desktop Logos is. The prioritization of Text Comparison on the Android App is KAR, AV, LUO1545, The Message, NASB95. The prioritization on the Desktop Logos (Logos Bible Software 6.3 Beta 3) is KJV1900, NASB95, NIV, HCSB, The Message. The Android App nor Biblia.com follows this prioritization of "Top Bibles" and the prioritization cannot be set to match the desktop.
Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks.

Bump.
Is anyone else experiencing or has experienced this?
Was my question understood (it's a little difficult to explain in a few words)?

Hi Erwin,
This is a known issue. Resource prioritization does not currently sync to the mobile apps.

Thanks Kevin;
Attempting to change the default bible on the mobile app or Biblia also tends to affect the prioritization of the Logos desktop (it will add multiple translations or copies of same translation in prioritization).
I'm glad it is known, and not just some anomaly isolated to my account. [:)]

Hi Kevin;
I was about to write a new post, when I came across this one (I forgot that I already inquired). Is there any new news on this issue?
This is what appears in my Logos Desktop prioritization list when attempting to get my KJV to remain as preferred Bible on the mobile device. It is normally not possible to include the same resource twice in prioritization on the desktop without using "Set prioritization limits (advanced)". This only occurs when changing the default Bible on the mobile.
Another strange thing is that, on the mobile device, the default Bible will always change to Svent Biblia. https://www.logos.com/product/1834/szent-biblia . If I attempt to change it back to KJV, I will get yet another entry of KJV in the prioritization list on the desktop.
I don't own this Bible (and do not know the language). It is a resource that is included free on the mobile app, and I haven't found a way to hide it.

What version of the Android and Desktop versions are you running - beta, stable, etc.?
Your screenshot is from Logos Desktop, not the Android app... you might be better off posting on the appropriate Desktop forum.0 -

There is a setting in the mobile apps for changing the Preferred Bible; the Logos Desktop resource prioritization method is not the one to use for setting the preferred Bible on mobile. Please see this screencast: http://screencast.com/t/3R3vUXen9h

I am running the latest Beta of both desktop and android (6.5 Beta 1 and 4.6.1 Build 435).
The problem seems to be with the Android app in that it won't retain my preferred Bible no matter what I do. Each time that I change it on the Android app, it will remain for a little while, but after some time, it reverts back to the Szent Biblia. And each time that I change it in the Android app, it will also add a duplicate entry on my prioritization list in the desktop. There is definitely something wrong as normally this is not allowed to occur on the desktop. It is as if each one is a different resource with the same name (in this case, the KJV1900).

That is the exact procedure I have been following. Each time I do this, it will remain active for some time, then revert back. And each time that I change it (using the same procedure), it will also create a duplicate entry on my desktop as depicted by the screenshots.

FYI, the most recent Android build is 4.6.1 build 436 - it was release to stable today and there is no newer beta version. I suggest you install this version as there was a preferred Bible bug that caused a crash in certain circumstances.

If you shut down Logos Desktop and then set your preferred Bible in the Android app and wait, does it change back to the Szent Biblia? It's sometimes difficult to determine where the problem lies since sync works both ways. Logos Desktop might be syncing something back to the Android app without you knowing. If the issue goes away when Logos Desktop isn't running that's another clue that would help since I've been unable to reproduce this issue as of yet.

This is something you should report on the Logos Desktop Beta forum.

Great! I will update.

I will try this, and report back.

Ok, thanks.
Thanks Kevin; I will do each and report back.

Hi Kevin;
I was hoping that performing the update and not opening Logos Desktop would lead to some insight on the issue, but it didn't. After about an hour, the preferred Bible on the Android Bible app reverted back to the Szent Biblia.
