4.0b Beta 2 - Bible Search problem

I get "zero results" found when I do a Bible search, using either Bible speed search or regular Bible search, using any BIble, Bible collection, or even all Bibles.  I have deleted the index files and reindexed everything, but still have the same problem.  I have loaded this 4.0b Beta 2 on two computers.  My Windows XP computer works fine.  By Windows 7 computer is the one that doesn't work.

I can do a Basic search and that works.  I can search my Bibles successfully in the Basic search, just not in Bible search.

    Wyn,

Please give some specific examples of exactly what you typed in the search field, what references in which resources (etc.) you were using.

A screenshot would be very helpful.

    Chris,

It doesn't matter what I type in, and it doesn't matter what Bibles I use.  In ANY Bible search (either regular Bible search or Bible Speed Search), I get "zero results in zero verses".   For example, I type "Lord" in the search box, using "Search entire Bible in all Bibles" and it returns "Bible Results: 0 results in 0 verses in (5.07 sec)"

However if I use the Basic Search (not Bible Search or Bible Speed Search), I do get the proper results.  For example, I in Basic Search if I search ESV for "Lord" it returns: "Library Results 8,268 results in 1,025 articles (0.61 sec)"

Again, this is only on my Windows 7 machine.  The XP machine works fine.

    Wyn,

That sounds like an indexing problem of course.  But you say you've rebuilt your indexes... Are you sure that indexing is complete?

Could you perhaps enable  Diagnostic Logging
and repeat your searches then shut down and post your Logs here.

    Strange indeed.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Do you have a folder called BibleIndex in \Logos4\Data\{random}? If so pls post an image of its file contents.

Which Index files did you delete?

SOLVED!   I deleted all the Bible Index files and reindexed, and it's OK now.  Before I had deleted the Library Index files and reindexed, but  I had failed to delete the bible index directory files.  THANKS for your help.

Strange. If the Library index was able to be used for Bibles what prevented Bible Search from using that index? I only know that Bradley has stated that Bible Search will use the Library index if the Bible index does not exist.
