A book Logos should add that would sell more Puritan works

I could not be happier with Logos in the last couple of years with adding the multitude of Puritan resources.  Just too wonderful!

Logos should seriously consider adding Robert P. Martin's "A Guide To The Puritans" as an offering.  He indexed an extensive amount of Puritan resources by topic and by scripture reference. I use it a lot (I have a large Puritan library) to find Puritans that speak to the verse or topic at hand.

Mr. Martin's book doesn't index everything though and I have a Google Doc I created that supplements his work.  My doc only indexes by scripture verse though.

Still, offering Mr. Martin's book would be a wise direction for Logos so others would find interest in other Puritan resources they may not have.

I would love to have this in Logos format!

Just the links to the puritan works themselves would be great! Martin sorts through the puritan works giving titles of books and sermons by topic and by scripture! A great (and almost necessary) reference work for sorting through the puritans! A encyclopedia and Bible index would have to be in this one for sure!

Please Banner and Logos, work out a deal! It would benefit all!

Agreed, however much of this can be accomplished inside Logos (especially if you have "A Guide to the Puritans" in print to provide examples of topics/authors to search)

You can make a collection rule from his bibliographies and then set search criteria to select "heading" AND "largetext" for topics.

And search for passages such as <Rom 9> in the collection for comments on scriptures.

Other helpful bibliographies can be found in...

    Beeke, J. R., & Pederson, R. J. (2007). Meet the Puritans: With a Guide to Modern Reprints.

In which the authors summarize most of the available works of the puritans and in many cases, have categorized them by topics and scriptures.

    Hey David,

Is there any chance you'd be willing to share the document that you made? I'd be really interested!
