"Resource Download" "Unable to download resource"
I have has this message for some days. I have good internet connection, and have tried restarting the iPad ... but it till appears. The home page makes no mention of any resources to update.
Would it be related to why it takes 10+ seconds to open a note files with the current version? Is the note file the 'resource'?
Any suggestions which how to find out which resource? If I knew that I could possibly use the info panel to unload it and then reload it.
Thanks.

I've had this message before but always as a result of trying to download a specific resource. Do you get the message each time you try to open the app? Did you have any recent resources that you tried to download that were not successful? If so you could check those.

Where/when do you see this message - could you please upload a screenshot? Typically the only reason this will appear is when attempting to download one of the resources freely included with the mobile apps (but not yet purchased).

Note files are not resources. If a note is very large it can take a long time to open.

Hi Kevin
This is the message that I am seeing ...
It seems to be triggered by some background task ... it does not seem to relate to the sources on the screen.
I was looking to see if I could in some way trigger it by looking at non-local resources that are free with the mobile apps ... but find that I could not distinguish any ... my library is too big! As I was browsing the library, and using the info panel, I did see a couple of 'this book is only available ...'' sentences, but these quickly disappeared as I watched ... presumably the licensing server had caught up o something ... and they had no trouble either downloading, or being used in the reading view whilst not local. Whilst 'exploring' I did see the message appear a couple of times .. but not through anything I was trying to do!
As to the slow loading of a notes file .. the one I use whilst using my iPad is 22,417 words long, according to pages ... or about 80 pages according to the L6 export screen ... I do not know if that is considered to be very large ... for example, I do not know what a typical book or resource contains ...
Thanks for the support.
Martin.

Martin,
Please use the "Report a Problem" link under the Help menu so we can examine the device logs.
80 pages is pretty large for a notes file. If it is possible for you to use more notes files and organize them differently to keep them smaller, they will load quicker.

I am having the same problem. This has nothing to do with opening notes, at least in my case. Almost every time I open Logos on my iPad I get this message repeatedly. Very frustrating!

Welcome to the forums! Sorry you are having troubles. [:s]
I am having the same problem.
I don't quite know what the "same problem" that you are having is. It would be best to create a new thread and explain your issue clearly, providing appropriate details. For example: what version of the app? What device? Version of iOS?
Under "account settings" on the website, how many devices show up in the "mobile devices" section. Is that number what you expected to see?
