Logos Store for Aspiring Authors

As an author, I can publish electronically on Kindle or a Nook. I would like to see a Logos Store where we can make our books for sale on the Logos platforms using tags appropriate for Logos users. We would in essence create a personal book file and maintain a current copy in our section of the Logos Store. Updates are automatically downloaded for those who purchased a Logos version of our books and add it to their Logos Library.

This is a great idea. I think it was mentioned as possibly coming back when Logos 4 or 5 first came out?

Interesting idea.If implemented, I would think a key component would be for each product description page to clearly identify what kinds of tagging has has been done on a given. As a potential customer, I would like to know if I am buying what is essentially a Word document with no formatting whatsoever, whether there are page numbers, whether there are tags for topic/text if the work contains sermons, whether it I can expect to find any references to the work under Topic Guide, etc. Maybe Faithlife could develop a "simple" checklist that could be on each product page to indicate what tagging features are present. For that matter, I really wish this were already implemented across all Faithlife store fronts. The more datasets, features, and guides are created, the more crucial it is for customers to know what products will work with what features.

Just FWIW, Faithlife owns Lexham press which is one step further than what you're proposing.

For a less scholarly focused publishing venue they also have Kirdale press.
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.
