click.logosmail.com timing out......

For the last several days click.logosmail.com links have been timing out for me. At first I thought it was from my end but now I'm thinking that it is not. Basically it is timing out. I'm using Firefox as my browser. Has anyone else been experiencing this?

Bruce the click.logosmail.com links always timeout on my laptop but on my desktop they almost always work.

We haven't been able to replicate this in-house or from machines accessing it through an outside network ... are you behind a proxy, by any chance?

It would also be helpful to know the source of the click.logosmail.com links; are these from an e-mail that was sent to you, or are they somewhere on our site? (If you could paste for us a complete url that's failing, that would be a huge plus.)

No I am not.

These are all from emails that I have signed up to receive. It seems like none of them are working.

Well, I'm glad it worked for you at that time, but it appears that you were lucky and it is now not working again at least in the testing I did.
As far as I can tell this hasn't yet been fixed. I think I found the problem and reported it in the case, but I don't have access to test out the fix for this myself otherwise I would.

That is strange indeed. I went back and tried a number of other Faithlife emails that timed out before and they all seem to work now. It makes me wonder what changed about my situation to make it work now. Anyhow, I'm thankful that it does work and hope you can solve it for others.

We believe the issue with the click.logosmail.com may be solved. I wasn't able to reproduce the issue, but then I wasn't able to consistently reproduce it before when it wasn't working.

If someone who hit this problem before could verify and post here if it's still broken for them or working now that would be great.

Sad to say, but someone else confirmed that they are still having problems. Fwiw not everyone is having this problem so its been harder to figure out the root cause. The problem I found doesn't appear to be the root cause.

if anyone hits this please add more information here. Like OS, browser, how long the timeout takes to occur, if you're using a proxy server.

I'm not behind a proxy, & from my domain no browser has been able to get to click.logosmail for several months. I even contacted my ISP who did a Ping trace on my pc. The timeout was occurring on a server with a Logos domain. I copied the trace & contacted customer services, who investigated, said they were "working" on it, & for an interim fix suggested I use an ad hoc proxy server service (they provided a free one). That's more effort than I want to expend in order to click on any URL.

AFAIK, Logos solicitations are still timing out (at least, the most recent one I was sent did so).

FWIW.

EDIT: after posting this, received another solicitation & was able FINALLY to click through on one... Thanks, guys!

We think we might have found and fixed an issue that might have caused this to occur.

Thanks for finally investigating this. I reported it to customer service back in February and have re-reported it several other times.. On Aug28, (after >½yr!) I was once again able to use one of links that Logos sent in an e-mail message.

We were thinking we might need to buy a different router, so I'm very interested: what did you do to fix it?
