Continental Commentary: Genesis 1–11 - CLAUS WESTERMANN - Problem with *
Am very happy to have this commentary, but when you click on the * which are throughout the text, what comes up in the footnotes is only the Scripture verse, not the text along with the * . You have to scroll all the way to the back of the book and click on where the * is to get the text along with it. Then you have to scroll all the way back to where you were reading; and all of this scrolling back and forth will wear oneself out.
Now this could be how the digital copy was created by the publisher; I don't know, that is why I am making FAITHLIFE aware of this, so that they could know, and possibly fix it, so that when you click on the * the text does come up in the footnotes, along with the Scripture verse; instead of having to scroll all the way to the back of the book to get the text.
What I am asking is can this problem be rectified?

What are you reading this commentary on? That's not the behaviour I'm seeing on Logos desktop (unless I've misunderstood your problem).
When I click on the *, I get the text of the NRSV as a popup (which is what is supposed to happen). I don't get any scrolling, and I don't have to do any scrolling. Indeed, there's nothing at the back of the book that I could usefully scroll to.

This is what I am talking about Mark Barnes the numbers across from the Scripture References with an *; when you run your mouse over them or click on them a whole lot of text comes up. It is in the INDEX OF BIBLICAL REFERENCES at the end of the book. Where do we find these numbers in the body of the text that we can click on, and get all of this information, instead of having to go to the end of the book to get it. I cannot find this in the footnotes at all.

UPDATE: Mark Barnes I have found that all of this is in the body of the text. What this is at the end of the book is just an INDEX OF BIBLICAL REFERENCES. It was just a little confusing for me, but I finally figured it out. Thank you for your time and your help. God bless you.

How did you get the link to download this book? I tweeted by clicking the link on the page where it is offered, but it still shows zero tweets and no way to download the book. But my twitter account shows the tweet as sent. Any suggestions?

I finally got it to work after switching browsers (twice! Firefox didn't cut it, but Chrome worked).
