App.logos.com update: Tabs and autocomplete!
There are a few updates to app.logos.com.
For passage guide and bibles we now have autocomplete suggestions for the reference input boxes.
And we now support tabs, so you can open as many resources as you want and rearrange things to your liking.
Try it out! Let us know what you think, and what improvements we could make.

I'm liking the tabs and the new library view for browsing/locating resources. Very cool stuff!

I'm enjoying all of the updates. We can't save or load our layouts yet, correct?

I noticed the same thing.
I also noticed that I was unable to move tabs on my iPad.

Here is a bit of strange tab behavior:
I had NASB95 open in the LH panel, a commentary open in the RH panel.
I went to the Library and opened another commentary. I did not see a new tab. The NASB95 was all that was visible and its tab.
I closed the NASB95 and this is what I saw:
The commentary was now visible, but there was no tab.
I tried opening another book, and it opened on top of the Mayhue volume.
Now there was a tab, but it was for the newly opened book. Still no tab for the Mayhue volume. (no screenshot of this)
I dragged the new resource to the RH pane. That worked fine, and suddenly there appeared a tab on the LH side:
When I attempted to repeat what I'd seen, I was not able to do so. Everything worked as it should have.
One question in addition: right now everything opens in the LH panel. Should we not be able to click in either panel, then open a book and see it open in that panel?

Okay, I think I see what is happening. The new resource opens in the opposite panel that you click on (the inactive panel). Certainly not intuitive, but I can understand why.

not yet. We will hopefully be introducing that soon, around the time we also enable tiled layouts as well.

I will take a look at that and see what it would take. Sounds like it wouldn't be too difficult to implement.

I think I fixed this Friday, but didn't get a chance to push it out. Hopefully Monday. What browser were you using?

yeah we opened in the opposite, because we didn't want to cover whatever resource you might have just been looking through

Yeah the bug I fixed mostly occurred in firefox as well. I'm pretty sure it is the same bug. I'll try to have the fix out for it today. Thanks for letting me know. Keep the feedback rolling in!Mark Smith said:Seth Copeland said:I think I fixed this Friday, but didn't get a chance to push it out. Hopefully Monday. What browser were you using?

Seth, I promise not To hold you to any dates, estimated or otherwise, but what is the estimated ETA of the tile layout?

Any thoughts on when we can expect to be able to save/load layouts?

I suggest starting a new thread about that. [:)]

You're right. Sorry. I saw this discussion about it earlier in this thread, and thought I was quoting, but I did not.
