Moving to a new laptop

Just got a new laptop. Is there anything that I need to manually backup from the old laptop? When I install Logos on the new one will my documents and highlights sync from the cloud?

Everything should sync after installing Logos
If you want to avoid downloading all your resources you can use some of the options outlined at https://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers

Thanks Graham. I thought that was the case but wanted to be sure before I erased the old hard drive.

That made me remember something!
While compiled Personal Books are synced, the source document (.docx files) are not - so if you have those on your hard drive you probably want to take copies of them.

A slight bit of clarification: The metadata for all books is synced... but only books you individually choose have the compiled book synced. Don't assume the book is synced because you see it in another library! You will have to make sure it opens!

Good point, Alabama, thanks for that

Thanks guys. I made backup copies of my personal books. I don't use that feature very often so I'm not going to worry about moving the personal books until I need one.
