Bug: Same download with Update Resources

This had its origins in the thread about the Ten Commandments interactive, where I was also trying to obtain a missing interactive "Names of God", which I have on desktop v6.5.
On laptop v6.4 I've twice had the same 40.1 MB download after issuing "update resources" without anything being updated in Library (it does not occur when I restart Logos).
The download is for:-
new update for resource ID 'LLS:LFLTSTFRNXVR01'
new update for resource ID 'LLS:LFLTSTFRNXVR02'
new update for resource ID 'LLS:MNLOFAPLGTCS'
new update for resource ID 'RVI:RSVCEOT'
and each produces the message "Resource 'Resource xxxx' can not be identified. Unable to apply patch."
The resources are NOT identifiable in Library, but if RSVCEOT is the Catholic Edition RSV, then it is likely they are hidden resources.
But there is nothing for the missing interactive. EDIT: I see it is for v6.5 only!!
\ResourceManager\Downloaded has four recent empty folders for these resources, and
\UpdateManager\Resources has three folders with BITxxxx.tmp files from 29 July.

Try deleting the folder E:\Logos\Data\fk5m4nan.xrj\UpdateManager\Resources\
That's a temporary folder that is used for downloading and for applying patch files. Something appears to be preventing the patching process, possibly a locked file.

That isn't the issue, and deleting the folders in Downloaded doesn't help as Update Resources does exactly the same thing. The log says these resources are "out of date" and it appears they are not hidden resources, whilst I'm not missing any. So what are they?

I knew they weren't in Library from the LLS: id. They aren't hidden. They aren't part of my Verbum licence (Feature Crossgrade), nor the monthly Logos Now. Are they from Verbum Now?

Sorry, it's not quite clear to me. Did you try deleting the UpdateManager\Resources folder or not? I wouldn't expect deleting the Downloaded folder to help at all, since it's failing the patch step:

Therefore my assumption is that either the downloaded file is not getting saved properly after download, or there is an existing file that is somehow interfering with writing the patch file. Either way, deleting the indicated directory should allow it to retry the process without interference.

Andrew, is this all I should do or is there something new learned from Dave Hooton's problem, which I am not sure is similar or not? At this point I have done what you said and am waiting for my next resource update to see if it is fixed. Thanks.

If you have the same messages in your log file, then I would suggest the same thing. If you are talking about the issue in your other thread (https://community.logos.com/forums/t/113845.aspx), then it doesn't seem related to this issue.

Yes, so that is not the issue. But I only get the resource notification with Update Resources!
And I it is exactly the same on my desktop v6.5

Patching can also fail if the license file doesn't contain a valid license for the resource. Make a backup copy and then delete Data\{random}\LicenseManager\Licenses.dat. When you start up the application it will download a new license file. If this fixes the problem, I might want you to email us a copy of the file to see if we can find any indication why it wasn't getting updated properly.

It was fixed with a new licence - but I had to use Update Resources! Desktop v6.5 RC2
I installed Verbum v6.5 RC2 - but I had to use Update Resources to get them.
Now there is a disparity of resources with Logos having 6 more "Now" resources, some of which should have expired and Verbum not having the latest Logos Now offerings.
