Notes- Any Offline Editing Backup and Restore Mechanism?

Hi Folks,
Around a month or so ago (I'm wondering if this happened during V6 upgrade) virtually all of my Notes Files had all entries duplicated. So my most used Notes File, which is already pretty large, just got 2X larger. Ugh!!!
It appears that the notes file is an xml file. So I'm wondering if anyone has come up with any tool for offline editing of a Note Files supporting any of the following:
1) Offline editing/ cleanup of Notes in a Notes File
2) Backup of a Notes File
3) Restore of a Notes File
4) Copying of Notes in a Notes File to a different Notes File
And secondly, does anyone know if offline editing of the Notes File would be accepted by Logos, or would the sync process overwrite it with the last note file the Logos Server has online?
thanks,
karl

Logos 6 uses SQLite databases which are not amenable to user editing; which is not recommended anyway.
If the duplication is extensive then contact Faithlife Technical Support, or else go offline, manually delete the duplicate entries and go back online.

Thanks Dave. But I have a few note files which are fairly large and manually editing hundreds of entries isn't really practical.
