Feeling left out

This is a wonderful concept, but am wondering if Logos has taken into account the number of longstanding faithful users from countries with poor economies. Not everyone can afford subscriptions in U.S. Dollars. Here in South Afirca with an exchange rate of more than 12 Rand to the 1 US dollar the higher options are priced out of range. I know it will be argued that it is no more expensive than a few good resources, but it would be good if other countries were acknowledged in some way with a discount option. If this was R99 instead of R1230 per month I wouldn't even think twice. Been using logos since almost the beginning but it does seem that many newer expensive features are now escaping me.

just came across this http://time.com/3944572/apple-music-pricing/
If Apple can get it right for music, can there not be a similar offer for books?

It would be great if it was possible. Not sure how viable this is.

Your point is well taken. The question is, would FL business profit-making drive allow them show so much compassion?

Our local utility has a fund that customers are asked to contribute to to subsidize payments for those unable to afford to pay. Some similar arrangement might be made by Logos & Verbum.

This point could also be made (has been made) about all of FL's pricing. I simply don't know what FL can do, especally with books belonging to other publishers. It certainly would be complex. FL is no Apple in size, staffing, market control, etc.

What about poor users in the United States? Not everyone here is wealthy.

Point noted, but still no comparison when you have to pay 12x more because of your currency.
I also know that you can't simply make a simple comparison based on currency exchange rates, but third world countries will always be at a disadvantage with their weaker currencies.
