Bible Screen Verse of the Day Hijacks Lock Screen (Win 8.1.1)
Running Windows Professional 8.1 Update 1 64bit
Bible Screen Verse of the Day v.4.00.0.0003
Even with Bible Screen Verse of the Day NOT allowed to run in the background and with both Lock Screen Options clear (Updated daily and Letterbox unticked) the app still manages to change my lock screen image to the current image whenever I manually open the app to see the latest images.
I don't want this app hijacking the lock screen - can we please disable this feature unless the Lock Screen Options are selected.
Thanks
Tim

Hi, Tim. Sorry for the trouble you are having; that definitely should not be happening.
The next time you run the Verse of the Day app and it changes your lock screen, can you click Settings > Support > Share Log Files, send them to logosbugs@logos.com, and let me know?
Do you have a different Windows computer also running Bible Screen Verse of the Day? Since Windows can synchronize lock screen images across multiple computers, that might also be a factor.
Thanks!

Quick update. I found how to bypass the lock screen on start up but id prefer not to. It's a registry editor thing so wherever the app drops the image in the registry editor is the fix. Wish I knew what it was.

Have you tried installing/configuring another app to set the lock screen? Once this is done you may be able to then set the lock screen to whatever you want. I haven't seen this, so I can only guess at what is going on there.
