HELP PLEASE: Foreign Languages all over my front page

For some reason, ever since Logos switched to the new front page format, I have had this problem. It gets better some times, but I ALWAYS have foreign language ads and whatnot on my front page. Yesterday I had a ton of Spanish, today it appears to be Chinese? Sometimes I'll have more ads in a foreign language than in English. Please help! It's driving me crazy!!!!

I see the same thing. It seems to be due to Prepubs being launched which are offering non-English resources.

I'm not aware of any mechanism to filter Prepubs displayed by language which would be what is required here.

We're working to give users better control over which feeds show up on the homepage. Right now we don't have a language control for Pre-Pub and Community Pricing feeds. We're working on it. Sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime.

Thanks. Now that I know it is a result of pre-pubs and community pricing, I turned those off and they all disappeared. Yesterday I had SIX spanish ads on my screen. It was crazy.

Anyway, I'll just have to check once a week or so for new pre-pubs and community pricing so I don't have to have them on my front screen.

Part of the problem is that languages are only "foreign" if you don't understand them, and many users are happy in several languages but obviously not in all, so it is not as simple as "English only" and "everything else as well" options. Some academic types might not want all the Spanish and Chinese ads, but could get upset if that meant opting out of the Hebrew, Greek and German ones as well.

Try disabling "My Logos Messages", and you get rid of the Spanish ads as well.
