Is there a timeline for supporting OS X El Capitan? The GM candidate was released today....
Welcome!
The typical answer from Logos is that they don't support Logos on "pre-release" versions of operating systems. Normally Logos ends up with a supported release at launch or shortly afterwards.
If you are interested in more details, you can peruse the beta forum for posts about OS X.
How is Logos running on El Capitan GM?
I didn't upgrade. I was told by the LOGOS team to not upgrade until the OS is certified by their team.
Thanks Jarkeer.
I am having no problems with El Ca
Mike,
Are you running the most recent beta release of El Capitan?
Logos and MS Word appear to run without problems?
Thanks,
Steve
I've not had any problems (Logos or Word) on this or the previous betas. I'm not on the GM yet.
Everything seems to be working after the update.[:)]
Thanks
I use El Capitan final release. Logos 6 installer (v6.5.0.44) displays confirmation window and that's it. Nothing works. It displays the icon in the menu but all items are "Untitled".
This behavior was seen in an earlier release, but the issue was fixed. Have you been using Logos all along for the past several months? Have you tried opening the app from the applications folder? Have you tried downloading and installing the newest engine manually (see link in my signature line)?
If none of those work, please create a new thread and explain your issue clearly. It would be helpful to outline which steps you have taken so we don't repeat ourselves.
This is not an official Faithlife response/stance, but I can tell you on my personal rMBP, running El Capitan GM Candidate, Logos 6 works fine. Your mileage may vary, of course. If you're worried at all about your critical workflow, it's best to wait for an official release of El Capitan (plus a response from our developers on L6's compatibility).
