Edit the Spellcheck Dictionary in Notes?
When typing a Note, there is a built in dictionary that is used for spellchecking. An incorrectly spelled word, for example, will be flagged with a red, dashed underline. Right clicking on that word will typically yield one or more spelling suggestions, plus an option to add the word to the dictionary.
For those of us who might have been a little too quick to click on the Add Word to Dictionary option [ahem], is there a way to edit the list of user-added words? I looked in https://documents.logos.com/ but found nothing.
Instead of Artificial Intelligence, I prefer to continue to rely on Divine Intelligence instructing my Natural Dullness (Ps 32:8, John 16:13a)

To clarify,
I believe the actual file location is in: C:\Users\JRS\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\********.***\UserDictionaryManager
and the file is: UserDictionaries.db
What I am asking is if there is a user-friendly way of editing this file without having to edit the db directly?

I am not aware of any JRS. You would need to use http://sqlitebrowser.org/ to view and edit the file. Make a backup copy of the file before editing.

Thanks a much better solution.Actually, doc, I used your suggestion for SqliteBrowser with great success. Although I originally indicated that I didn't want to edit the db directly, what I was envisioning was having to download a trial copy of the entire SqLite program in order to effect just a few corrections. But SQLiteBrowser is a relatively small utility and fairly straightforward to use. It enabled me to see/review/edit all of my User-Added entries at one time.
The "Remove" command works, of course, but really only has value if/when one catches himself making the mistake and remembers exactly what the mistake was so that it can be entered exactly the same way in the command line (or if one spots a previous mistake in the suggested words drop-down).
I am slightly surprised that there isn't a better built-in, user-friendly solution within Logos ... seems like it would be fairly simple to do (but, hey, I am not a programmer nor do I play one on TV). Maybe it's coming in LogosNow or L7, or maybe I'm the only who makes these sort of mistakes that need to be corrected. Most likely, the catch just isn't worth the chase.

Glad you found the SQLite option work for you. I say the command is a better option in the fact that it is the official way to do things. Editing the database would not be recommended by the support team - but a you found has its advantages. Always take a backup of the database you are editing before you change anything as a pre-caution. Corrupting your "Spell Check" database would be less critical than some of your other databases - but a backup is still recommended in any case.

I believe this command still works in Logos 9.
I cannot always remember the exact typo that I accidentally accepted into my custom dictionary. Some years back, I looked at my custom dictionary in a text editor and was surprised to see how many incorrect words were in there.
Is there a way in Logos to look at all the entries in my custom dictionary?

Does anyone know if this works in Logos 10?
I tried to delete a word in Mac using sqlight. The word is deleted in the database, but this had no effect on spell checking.
Using the frase 'remove mishmosh from en' doesn't work either. 1. my misspelled words are in Dutch. Using the Command 'remove amtsdrager [=misspelled word] from nl' caused Logos 10 to crash. Any idea?

I just ran into the same challenge again. The "remove" command does not seem to work anymore. Is there anyway to delete the incorrect word from the dictionary without an SQL editor?
