One issue and one question about The Reformation Study Bible
The issue is this: The Reformation Study Bible will not download and states it's only available online because it's not in my Library. I certainly didn't pay $19.99 to view the 2005 version of the RSB only when WiFI is abailable or I hotspot my phone. I can already view the RSB 2015 on Ligonier for free.... What is the fix for this issue?
The question is a logical follow up; when will the RSB 2015 replace the 2005 within this app?
(By the way I own physical copies of both the 2015 Ryre and the 2015 RSB. Maybe that will help frame my frustration when using. My iPad as a reference tool that prevents 8 bibles out when I'm preparing a lesson or studying a very particular point of theology)
I have spent a sizable amount of money between crossway, faithlife, and lifeway products (both through iOS, book, and PC. There needs to be more transparency across the faithlife and logos offerings. The App Store is inundated with redundant products that cost the unknowing patron a sizable amount of money to have 7 apps that are exactly the same, with much of the same information, downloaded multiple times hogging what to some is precious space; only there are a bunch of different icons on their screen that look just a little different or have a different title line.
Very Respectfully, CWO4 Shannon Beaman USMC

Hi Shannon - and welcome to the forums.
Can you provide a few more details?
Did you purchase the Reformation Study Bible app from the Apple App Store?
If so, are you trying to use it from within that app or from within one of the other Faithlife apps?
With regard to the 2015 version the notes are available at https://www.logos.com/product/51541/reformation-study-bible-notes but I don't know if that is going to affect the specific app.
And you refer to crossway, faithlife and lifeway products. Are you aware these are different companies?
Just trying to get some clarification.

How did you purchase this resource? Which app are you using? Is there a possibility you have multiple accounts?

It won't. You pay for the resource, not the app. If the 2015 version makes its way into the Logos catalog, you will have to purchase it separately.

The Ligonier RSB bundles the Reformation Study Bible and you don't have to use wifi to access it. Are you trying to access the RSB in a different app?

No, but when I select ESV -vs- KJV I'm then stuck where I'm told with it that appt hat the item is not available for download because it's not in my Library..... It's in my Library across the other Faithlife products both ESV, and ESV Study....

If you only want to use with KJV integration it works as you say, but as soon as I try to download the ESV I'm told no.

Have you purchased the ESV resource?

Kevin, Alabama Graham I believe the OP is referring to this app in the iTunes store which is a Faithlife Prodcut
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/reformation-study-bible/id501273559
I have steered clear of this app because you have to pay upfront for it and it looks no different to the other Logos apps and I already owned the RSB in my Logos library so why should I have to pay to access it again in another app and had questions about how well it would integrate the rest of my Logos Library...questions the OP is now raising from what I understand of their post.

Hi Doc - understood.
I think Kevin is asking whether Shannon has purchased the ESV as this app only provides free online access to the ESV.

All good Graham some of the responses led me to believe this was not clear...hopefully this can be resolved for OP one way or the other.

The ESV can't be downloaded locally to any of our mobile apps unless it has been purchased.
