Are there plans to implement 3D touch in the Bible! app? If so, how how will it be implemented?

This isn't how the game is supposed to be played. You are supposed to tell us how it will be implemented. [:)]

I don't know if the dev team has discussed it yet.

Right now you can press on a word in the app and you can copy it, look it up in a dictionary, search it, share it, highlight it or make a note on it. There's some functionality already in the app.

If nothing else, perhaps implementing the new way the options are displayed on the screen in 3D Touch as shown here would create a better user experience. One idea for implementation could be a way to switch Bible versions to see how a verse is translated in another version.

I certainly think it would be good to utilize force touch to eliminate a step in some process... Don't know which one. Perhaps lookup.

I am using 3D Touch on an iPhone, and it is pretty nice. It is meant to be pressed on the icon, as a right click of sorts in opening the app (as opposed to using it within the app). It can handle both static and dynamic commands, up to 5 of them - the dynamic are enabled once the app has been opened (I presume needs background app refresh on so it can run in the background?).

Some ideas I thought of for 3D touch in Faithlife's mobile apps that I would use the most  - search (as alabama said), open last book, open to library, open next entry in last reading plan opened, open passage guide, open documents, open Bible word study.

I agree that this implementation would be useful.

Once inside the app, I would suggest that implementation of 'peek' and 'pop' to links would be both useful and consistent with Apple's implementation within their own apps.

I was playing around with the Logos app on a 6S Plus this morning and thought that it would be very useful if I were able to 'peek' and 'pop' into a note file by pressing on the note marker in any given text.

On a related note, I was also wondering, whether, with the introduction of iOS 9 (and, imminently, El Capitan) whether there were any plans to take advantage of deep linking? It would be great to search for a resource via Spotlight and then be able to link straight into said resource with the Logos App... At least, this is how I understand that deep linking might work.

I'd love to have lookup, or bible word study on 3d touch push [:)]
