How well does Logos work with this operating system? I am seriously thinking of switching from PC to Apple.
You are asking the wrong question since 10.11 will be released on Wednesday.
There is nothing serious about Logos working with 10.10. The general answer given by Logos about updating to the next version of OS X is "wait until you hear from us." I don't expect any major problems, but there are always some glitches.
The bigger question is "how is the Logos experience on Mac compared to Windows." I will let users with PC experience chime in for that question.

I assume that the os would automatically update? I am a windows user now, so tell me what your experience has been with Logos and Mac.
I've used Logos on both since 2003, and no complaints at all about Apple. (I'm apple-only now, in fact. Yosemite is fine, and have had no problems with the new OS betas either.)

The updates are not automatic, but they aren't difficult. When an update is available, the "App Store" app shows a badge with the number of updates available. The "updates" tab will provide a description of all updates and allow you to select the ones you want to do. FYI - The App Store will show updates for all apps "purchased" via the app store. Logos updates do not appear there because Logos is sold and installs outside of the app store.

I have never used Logos on windows, so I have no basis of comparison. As a regular forum member, my impression is that the Mac users most dissatisfied with Logos are long time Mac users. I am unaware of any recent converts who have complained about performance. As a Mac enthusiast, I would have preferred a Mac App built from the ground up for Mac... but that isn't likely to happen.
My advice for you: Don't buy a Mac for the sake of Logos. If you want to buy a Mac for other reasons, you will be content with the performance of Logos. The rest of my advice is platform agnostic:

I have been a Mac user probably longer than anyone else on this forum (June 1984), and I find the complaints that Logos is not "Mac-like" to be silly (Watch out for the fiery darts Jack [:P]).

I agree with this advice.
