Single note for multiple highlighted verses?

if I highlight two or more verses, is it possible to associate a note to all two or more verses? So far I have only been able to attach a note to a single verse in a highlighted passage. I would like to be able to, for instance, highlight verses 10 and 11 and then write a note that applies to the point or argument made in those two verses as a whole, but which is not made in either verse alone.

I have no experience with this, but you are supposed to be able to have "multiple attachment points" within L6. I have no idea if the mobile app allows these or not.

I'm not sure I understand.

If you highlight a couple of adjacent verses (using double-tap and "drag-select") there is a "Note" option in the popup.

Tapping on that and choosing "Reference" in the note editor allows you to create a note attached to those adjacent verses.

Does this give you what you are looking for?

Good catch Graham. I didn't notice that before. I thought the question was about two completely different passages, not two congruent ones.

First of all, I may be losing my mind. So, there's that. I honestly cannot replicate the issue I had when i made this post. I apologize.

That said, I have been using a hold down and swipe to highlight. Then I have been tapping my highlight to add a note. When I do it that way, I don't see the Reference button. Now that I have double-tapped and then dragged and then tapped Note, I see the Reference panel which confirms for me the verses my note applies to. Woo hoo!

Again, sorry about the confusion. Thanks for mentioning the double-tap then drag action. I'll keep working with the app and get the hang of it sooner or later.

The "swipe to highlight" method creates a highlight which is (by definition) "by selection" which is why the "reference" button doesn't appear when tapping note.
