Update Error
When opening Logos (6) I get the message "Another installation is currently in progress. Please complete that installation and try again. You may need to restart your computer to finish a pending Windows Update." Logos opens and works but I guess that there is an update waiting. I have checked Windows Update and all is OK and restarted a number of times but the message still appears.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

The latest stable version is 6.6 SR-1. Perhaps a manual install of that version would cure this problem. See the Install link in my signature. (Not being a Windows user, that is the best advice I can think of)

Simon, this problem is similar to one I am having. The suggestion of Dave for me produced "BITSAdmin is depreciated and not guaranteed to be available in future versions of windows. Administrative tools for the BITS service are now provided by BITS Powershell cmdlets."
Then it says 0 jobs which according to the website means it is disabled.
I am using windows 8.1

Thanks for the suggestions, however the problem remains. Jack: trying a manual install simply says that there is an install already in progress. Dave: I get the same response as Mark, there are no jobs pending and the message that the BITS powershell cmdlets should be used (trying that the BITSAdmin command isn't recognised).
Thanks again for your suggestions I will try Tech support directly and post any response.

Listed 0 jobs is the output, which means it is working (it could have been 1 or more jobs). Deprecated means it is no longer being supported; unlike Powershell.

Now im getting this error.. its been coming up all day. Even after restart (a few times) typed "update now" in the command field.. still the same error.. "Another installation iscurrently in progress. Please complete that installation and try again. You may need to restart..." there is nothing being updated or installed. All windows updates are current.
once i click the ok to the error.. it seems to be stuck in "installing application update" Any new ideas? Windows 10, i7-3770 3.4 ghz, 16 gb ram
I noticed this post is from last year.. so why again are we seeing this???
